Car Parking: There is parking accessed by the side of Hob Croft and down towards the river. Parking for the entire stretch is shown at P on the
map.
General Description: The Hob Croft water stretches from the downstream end of Stubbins Wood to a point on the bank next to the Club car
park.
Access Arrangements: From the White Bull at Alston, between Grimsargh and Longridge on the B6243; follow signs for Alston Old Hall and
Observatory.
Restrictions: In order to avoid disturbing residents members must either leave this water before 11 p.m. or stay on it until 7 a.m. They may not
move their cars during the intervening period.
